Algebra I Grading System
Q2
Homework- 30% of the grade
• All homework must be turned in when due. If it is late, you will lose 50% of the total number of points.
• Homework must be completed on graph paper.
• Homework slips must be filled in and stapled to all pages submitted.
• Please copy the problem and show all of your work. If the problem itself is a word problem, please write down the important facts you need to work on the problem.
• If you have questions as you are working, please write that question on the page right below the problem, and circle it.
• Please put the questions in order going down the page, not across.
Class Participation- 30% of the grade
You all are wonderful in this category! The only thing I ask is that you try a little harder not to interrupt each other.
Tests- 40% of the grade
• All test questions missed may be retaken once I am satisfied that you have had ample opportunity to relearn (or have a better understanding than you did originally of) the topic covered. You will only retake questions you answered incorrectly the first time around. The question(s) on the second test will not be the same as on the first test. You will get .50 the number of points on the second try.
