For the Fourth Grade science unit on plants the girls grew brassica plants in their classroom. To add to their knowledge and understanding of these plants, they completed this Website scavenger hunt.

Once their plants were fully grown, the fourth graders drew and labeled a brassica plant using Hyperstudio.

In Hyperstudio, the girls created flip-card animations of a brassica plant's growth cycle. They copied and pasted each card, adding more to it each time. They also included a pollinator in their animation.
The fourth graders learned about the Dewey Decimal System and made some fun Thanksgiving cards.
