Basket Wrapping Beginning THIS WEEKEND!

Saturday March 3 = 1 pm - 5 pm
Sunday March 4 = 10 am - 3 pm
Saturday and Sunday March 10 & 11 = 9 am - 4

Saturday and Sunday March 17 & 18 = 9 am - 6

Basket Donations:
Do you
have some baskets that you could donate?
We need many large/medium
handled baskets. Basket donations may be
delivered to the Front Desk at the Flood
Mansion on Friday (2nd). You may also bring
them to the Basket Wrapping on Saturday
(3rd).
Bow Making Event - Monday, March
5
Ruth Ann Seward will
be hosting a Bow Making Event to make
beautiful bows for the many baskets! It will
be held at her home on Monday, March 5th from
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 2730 Pierce Street
(between Green and Vallejo) Please RSVP via
email to Ruth Ann Seward at rannseward@sbcglobal.net
by Friday, March 1st. Please
gather a group to attend together and enjoy
good company, delicious treats and help make
the hundreds of bows required!
Event Volunteers
We also have
hundreds of shifts to fill beginning Monday,
March 19 through Celebrate Spring weekend
(including help with set-up for the different
events; helping with the luncheon, flower
market, boutique and easter basket sales;
staffing the cashiering stations;
helping with games, check-in, ticket sales
and the food court at Family Festival;
helping with check-in at the Evening Gala;
and helping with take-down on the Sunday
morning after Celebrate Spring.
Beginning on Thursday, March 1, you will be
able to sign up for volunteer shifts online
(www.celebratespring.org).

Auction News
A KING is coming to the Celebrate
Spring Live Auction this year. A Cavalier
KING Charles Spaniel that is. And the king is
actually a little princess! When
fully grown, this little princess will weigh
approximately 12 pounds and will be 11" to
12" inches tall. See
her darling photo and be
sure to watch for her visit on campus during
the the week of March 19th.
The Celebrate Spring Auction Committee
is putting together a wonderful line up of
Live Auction items including vacation homes
in St. Martin, Hawaii and on the Russian
River, some wonderful private dinners, a
beautiful Designer Dollhouse and a few
additional surprises. In addition, the
Auction Committee (with the help of so many
terrific Convent & Stuart Hall families) has
received a great selection of donations for
the online auction which will run from
Friday, March 16th at 3pm to Sunday, March
25th at noon. The committee is in need of
additional items! PLEASE contact Carolyn
Lund, Auction Chair, at carolynelund@comcast.net
or the Celebrate Spring office (345-5825) if
you are able to make a donation.
Boutique
The Boutique Committee has invited a
wonderful selection of vendors to Celebrate
Spring. No doubt you will find great items
for young and old, for birthday, Mother's
Day, Father's Day, Easter or for Hostess
Gifts. So start making your list and checking
it twice ...
Family Fest
Family Fest is going to be so much fun for
our families this year. The committee is
bringing back many of the terrific
games the kids love such as the cake walk and
climbing wall but also bringing in some
fantastic new games. In addition, the Family
Fest Magic Show is sure to amaze kids and
adults alike. Don't forget to bring your
appetite as the barbeque grills will be going
strong on Syufi Court.
Club 2222
The Saturday Evening Gala, which begins at
6pm, is going to be an exciting ,
not-to-be-missed, evening at the Flood
Mansion. Enjoy delicious food, interesting
drinks, a chance to catch up with friends
and, for the card sharks among us, a wild
game of Texas hold 'em. The party will
continue at 7:45 in the Herbert Center with
drinks and dessert, a Live Auction, the
Raffle Drawing and dancing to great music,
provided by John Jow.
