“Heart of the Matter” is a threefold journey into the Educational Mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the lenses of Spirituality, Education and Tradition.

Purpose

This is a formation process with a spirituality emphasis for the adult community at Schools of the Sacred Heart. Its purpose is to pass on certain aspects of the Sacred Heart Mission through the various experiences of RSCJ spirituality, traditions, customs and educational values for the future of the mission.

Objectives

The process would include community prayer, large group presentation with small group discussion, individual opportunities for participation as desired by the participant such as: daily meditation and/or personal reflection, web resources to RSCJ literature and documents, opportunities for spiritual companioning, etc.
