CELEBRATE SPRING 2006 – The countdown is on!
Reservations: The
Luncheon seatings and the Dinner Gala are filling up fast. Please be sure to
get your RSVPs in as soon as possible.
If you can lend a hand before or during the event -
Basket Workshops: Please join us at 1911 Pine Street to help
create these popular baskets. No experience necessary!
Volunteers: Volunteers, especially
Dads, are needed during transition times to help set up and break down for each
of our three fabulous events. If you can be there for only one or two hours,
it wold help a lot. Thanks!

The Online Auction opens this Friday! Be sure to check out the Wine
Auction which this year includes dining and rare wines at Jardiniere,
A-16 and Michael Mina’s as well as the Carneros Inn and Calistoga Ranch.

Want to have some fun with the teachers? They are hosting some wonderful items

SHHS - The Night of Knights. Faculty and staff of Stuart Hall
High School will prepare and serve a delicious dinner for eight to ten lucky
people in the grand Victorian at 1911 Pine Street, on the SSH campus. Treat
yourself, family and friends to a tasty and gracious evening!
CSH - Champagne, Chocolate and Conversation with the CSH Faculty. Convent of the Sacred Heart High School faculty will host your party of 20 adults to libations, desserts, captivating conversation and a mini faculty talent show in the glorious Mother Williams Library at CSH.
SHB - Fiesta Mexicana with Mr. Dominguez. We all know Mr. Dominguez as the Head of Stuart Hall for Boys. Now, he will show you and up to 7 others his culinary expertise, teaching you how to cook Mexican cuisine in the comfort of your own home. This experience promises to be fun, informative and tasty!
CES - Golf at the Olympic Club with Sr. Wachter. Swing into a round of golf on the lovely Olympic Club's Lake Course, future site of the 2012 U.S. Open. Our beloved CES principal, Sr. Anne Wachter and CES parent Jim McInerney will join you and one guest for an exciting game of golf--carts and lunch included.
Boutique 2006
Get ready, get set, shop! The Boutique will be open Friday, March 31 from 10:00am-3:00pm
in the Flood Mansion. The event this year promises to entice with both old favorites
and new finds! Back by popular demand, the beautiful millinery from the Hats
on Post. From the Russian Hill perfumery Elizabeth W, find scented indulgences
for bath, body, and home. Expect some trendy new designs for home, resort, and
pets from the smart and sassy, Toss Designs. The School Logo Boutique will also
return with sport bags and picnic blankets, and in stock are new items: bracelets,
baseball caps, and fleece vests.
New this year is Brown Eyed Girl, with contemporary clothing and accessories
for women and girls. For one-of-kind items, come see artist Evanne Grate’s
exquisitely hand-painted clay pots, just in time for spring planting, at Earthpots.
For little girls, Jenni Jewelry will feature delicate First Communion bracelets
perfect to honor the upcoming occasion. For a large selection of colorful and

Cake Walk Call! Please help out with one of the favorite Family Fest games. The Cake Walk needs families to donate baked goods for the ulitmate in sweet prizes. Whole cakes, pies, breads, cookies and cupcakes are welcome! Pre-Order
Candy Baskets and Centerpieces!
New this year, you may pre-order candy baskets, baking kits, Gingerbread Bunny
Houses, beautiful topiary centerpieces of jasmine or clematis and spring bouquets
using the attached forms. As always, theme baskets, candy baskets and floral
items will be available for purchase at Celebrate Spring on Friday, March 31.
Sample baskets may be seen at the Front Desk at 2222 Broadway.
Family Photo Opportunity: Don't miss out on your own photo shoot! Send in your order form to reserve a personal sitting with renowned photographer Martha Bruce. What a great Mother's Day gift this would make, plus Martha is donating 80% of the proceeds to SSH! Sittings are 20 minutes each and will be held on April 6 and 7, Parent Teacher Conference Days.

BOOK FAIR NEWS! Something new this year! The Four-School Spring Book Fair will be held at A Clean Well-Lighted Place for Books at Opera Plaza on Wednesday, April 5 from 6-9 in the evening. There will be authors reading from their works and book specialists to help select books for children and teenagers. Refreshments will be served and proceeds will benefit the Hoffman (elementary), Mother Williams (CSH) and Sr. Carroll (SHHS) libraries. Come on down!
