PASS THE FAITH PLEASE -- Mornings on Broadway, tomorrow, March 1, 8:30 am, Flood Mansion. Have you ever felt stumped by your child asking a "Big God Question?" Joy is the Executive Director and Head teacher of the Presidio Sunday School, a non-denominational Christian Sunday School located in the Presidio. She is a parent at CES (2) and SHB (K). MAKING
THE CASE FOR DIVERSITY
Schools of the Sacred Heart Parents' Association and the Inclusion Committee
of the Board of Trustees invite you to MAKING THE CASE FOR DIVERSITY by Gene
Batiste, Director for Equity and Justice at the National Association of Independent
Schools. Mr. Batiste will discuss how the successful independent school fulfills
its mission statement regarding diversity while addressing the various and sometimes
conflicting needs of a more diverse school community. He will begin by exploring
the process of building and sustaining an inclusive school community and providing
an explanation of cultural identifiers.
