Parent's Association Board Volunteer Search 2007/2008
 

We are currently seeking volunteers to fill our open positions on the Parent Board for next year. We had previously sent out an interactive form which has been difficult for many to use. Thank you to all who have graciously responded directly by email.

We have attached a copy of the form here and you may download and fax to 415/931-0201 or drop off at the Front Desk to the attention of the Parents' Association. You may also email either of us with your intentions or any questions you have. We appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you.

 Tribute to Laura and Peter Carroll
 Parents' Association Co-Presidents 2005-2007

Laura and Peter have been an integral part of the leadership of Schools of the Sacred Heart since their daughter, Lauren, arrived as a Convent kindergartener in 1987. Their son, Ryan, joined Stuart Hall in 1992, and their youngest, Savannah, began Convent Elementary in 1996, allowing Laura to begin her career at Convent & Stuart Hall.

After several years with room parent responsibilities, Laura was called upon head the Parents' Association at Convent Elementary School and asked several years later to lead Stuart Hall High School. Pam Hayes was delighted in 2005 when Laura and Peter agreed to step forward to chair the four-school Parents' Association with a voting membership on the Board of Trustees. Laura's impact on the Parents' Association, particularly her dedication to developing a structure that engaged our entire parent body, has been substantial.

We will miss Laura's and Peter's thoughtful Board presentations, their willingness to take on any new job or responsibility and their commitment to the Goals & Criteria of Sacred Heart Education. We are so grateful for the many years we have worked, laughed and celebrated together, and so on behalf of the entire Convent & Stuart Hall community, please accept our sincere appreciation for always saying YES!
