Family Dynamics with Children with Learning
Differences.
Provo & Associates was founded in 1985 to provide
the most professional, current and relevant guidance
and counseling to parents and educators. As the
principal, Diane Provo brings more than 30
years of
intensive child development experience to her
clients. In addition to her consulting, Diane is
also an author, a speaker and a regular TV
personality on San Francisco station, KRON, on the
Weekend News show.
Diane has a BA degree in Psychology and an MS degree
in Education, with an emphasis in Special Education.
She creates and develops comprehensive programs for
children with autism and PDD. This includes
selecting and prioritizing appropriate interventions
as well as supervising and consulting with
school-based and home-based programs.
Diane
has co-authored the books Starting Blocks and Kids
Are Great...when you know how they work. She also
co-designed the Starting Blocks Readiness Inventory,
a skill assessment program for pre-schools to use in
determining children's level of school readiness.
