Gingerbread Workshop This Sunday, December 2! |
Thank you for your spirited response to the BASH (Broadway Alumnae of the Sacred Heart) sponsored Gingerbread Workshop. We currently have a few openings left for the 1:30 p.m. seating on Sunday, December 2. "To Go" houses are still available.
The cost is $45 per house. There will be aprons available for purchase at $10 each.

Holiday Greens Boutique - Next Wednesday and Thursday |
The Holiday Greens Boutique is just around the corner! Two merry days at the Flood Mansion promise good cheer for all. The Boutique begins on Wednesday evening, December 5, with a champagne reception and continues on Thursday morning, December 6. There will be exciting door prizes and a surprise raffle. Greens orders will be available for pick up on Wednesday evening or Thursday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For your convenience, valet parking will be available for $10 on Wednesday evening.

PEN Speaker Coming to Convent & Stuart Hall - Thursday, December 6 |
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mike Riera to our campus on Thursday, December 6. Dr. Riera is one of the foremost experts on child and adolescent development, and has authored four books on the subject. He will cover the parent-child relationship and learning differences issues in his talk.
Registration and sign in will be at 6:30 p.m. The event will run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and will be held in the Syufy Theatre.
The cost is $10 for Parents Education Network members, and $35 for non-members.

Stuart Hall High School Coffee Sale Benefiting Service Trips |
 In an effort to raise funds for service trips to Mexico, New Orleans, and Uganda, Stuart Hall High School is selling Free Trade & Organic Coffee. 12 oz. bags of whole bean coffee are available in Light, Dark, and Decaf, for $12.50 per bag, or however much more you would like to contribute. The coffee will also be on sale December 5 and 6, at the Holiday Greens Boutique. A perfect gift idea for those coffee lovers on your list! On December 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Bloomingdale's San Francisco will proudly donate 10% of your sales proceeds to financial assistance at the schools.

Seconds-to-Go Corner This Week's Treasures |
Come by our resale shop to see the wonderful window display of festive miniature Christmas trees - perfect for your desk or mantle! They are selling fast at $10 each. Seconds-to-Go staffers are still putting out fabulous decorative items that will add a lovely touch to any home this holiday.
Collectible Swarovski crystal pieces are also on the shelves. An owl figurine is selling for $45 and a number of smaller items are available for $25.

Save the Date - the First Speaker Series Event of 2008 |

Please save the date of January 29, 2008, for the first Speaker Series event of the new year. The topic: "Raising Fiscally Responsible Children." Talia Pierliussi, a wealth advisor with Stanford Management Group, as well as a mother of two, is an expert speaker on this subject in Bay Area schools. The talk will be held in Syufy Theatre at 7 p.m. |
