Miller's Mile began more than 30 years ago, when a Stuart Hall student
challenged teacher Russ Miller to a footrace... And now runners from the
four school-community, including past parents, current teachers, students,
grandparents, babes in strollers, and everyone in between, participates in
the annual event, running a 2.2 mile course along Crissy Field, near the San
Francisco Bay Marina. A t-shirt design contest is also part of the fun.
